Not doing so well with the updating am I?
There really isn't all that much to report to be honest! Well, I guess there is....I am now an Aunt Amy to a beautiful little girl named Regan! Regan was born on November 9th and weighed in at 7 lbs. 13 oz. and was 20 1/2 inches long. She is doing great and Dena and Travis are GREAT parents! It is so cute to watch them with Regan and Travis is totally in love with his daughter. I've gone over several times in the past couple of weeks to visit and snuggle with her.....I just love that little girl!
Lily and I have been working and we are enjoying it, it makes it so nice to just have Lily up at the shop with me and Lily loves it because she gets all kinds of attention from everyone. When Pappy is there she goes and stays in his office and he just strolls her around all over the place. We haven't really done much else than that to be honest. I am trying to keep her away from places like the mall and such so being able to get out and go to the shop is nice for her.
Wednesday night Lily spent the night with Noni and Pappy, she went over after work so that left me with Wednesday night to do whatever I wanted to do which was nice. I went and did some shopping then came home....funny thing is that it hit 10pm, there was nothing on TV, I was bored with the online stuff so I thought, what the heck, I'm going to bed! I never go to bed that early but with getting up in the morning and getting both of us ready for work I have actually been much more tired than I would normally be so I hit the bed and had a nice, peaceful sleep that night!
Thursday I went to pick up Lily and since we weren't doing anything for Thanksgiving we decided to go for a drive in the van. Well, around 1:30 Travis called me and said to be there at 4pm, they were having Thanksgiving dinner.....arrrrrrg! So we headed back home and got ready for that and ended up having a great time. Lily finally got to meet Regan, her cousin and I have to say, she was not impressed! I was holding Lily in my arms and had Pappy lay Regan in my arms with the both of us so Lily got to hold Regan....made for a beautiful picture!
We had a nice dinner together and then headed home and got ready and hit the bed! Today is Christmas tree and cleaning day.....then another Thanksgiving Dinner tomorrow!
